What is a Hand Painted E Painting
Nicole Martinelli’s groundbreaking new artistic medium, the Hand Painted E Painting, exemplifies the innovative potential of digital media in contemporary art. Drawing on her background as an oil painter, she merges traditional painting techniques with digital tools. Utilizing a stylus as a brush and a touchscreen laptop as her canvas, she engages with each composition organically, layering color, texture, and form in a process that mirrors the intuitive gestures of traditional painting.

'' If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is… Infinite.” (William Blake)
The sentence by William Blake from his text of 11790 titled “The Marriage of Heaven and Hell,” which became influential in popular culture, inspiring artists, writers, and musicians, indicates that our perception of the world is limited and reduces reality to what is necessary for survival. The doors of perception therefore represent the boundaries of our current sensory and rational experience. And if they were “purified” of the limitations imposed by rationality, prejudice, and materialism, we could see reality in its true essence, which is infinite. The poet’s concept suggests how limited our perception is, and that only by transcending this limit through intuition and imagination can we access a profound and universal knowledge, grasping the infinite in everything.
The title of this new edition, Le temple des rêves show (The Temple of Dreams), has a strong ele
ment of imagination, symbolism and transcendence of conventional reality allowing access to the world of the unconscious and dreams through unprecedented scenarios that go beyond aesthetic contemplation. The show involves Italian and international artists whose practices are distinguished in visual and performing arts, neo-surrealism, underground art and design, video animations and much more. The exhibition, inspired by the Cabinet of Curiosities, where various objects were displayed in the private and aristocratic courts of Renaissance and Baroque Europe, the Visionary Art Show is being revamped in a space that combines the sacred and the profane: two contrasting but complementary spheres of reality. The sacred refers to the function of this Renaissance temple dedicated to God (the church of Saint Sebastian, now the Palmieri Foundation), while the profane is the dimension of everyday life, represented here by objects of popular culture or Cult Objects produced ‘outside the temple’. This surrealist vision of combining the two aspects of reality (spiritual and worldly) has given rise to this new direction of unusual and visionary art, which includes the characteristics of a contemporary art exhibition and the script of theatre and cinema.
In keeping with 17th-century tradition, the works follow a precise exhibition and aesthetic logic that rewards affinities and symmetry. It begins with the display of the unique and primitive specimen at the centre of the scene (a tribute to Ezechiele Leandro), surrounded by cameos (internationally acclaimed and recognized artists), and two mutants (performers), before embarking on flights of fancy into floating worlds (a review of Chinese video art) and the works of the enfants terribles (artists on display).

Nature Speaks
International Gallery Exhibition
Nature Speaks is a deep immersion into the incessant dialogue between humanity and the natural world. It is a heartfelt and powerful exploration of how nature, in its deepest essence, is not a silent entity, but a vibrant and complex voice that constantly addresses us. In the temple of the world, in every rustling leaf, every crashing wave, and every ray of light filtering through the trees, an incessant impulse lives. This impulse breaks the silence of things with words, gestures, colors, and sounds that express the ineffable mystery of Being. The artists in this section have skillfully captured and amplified these “words” of nature, transforming them into visual and sensory expressions that prompt us to reconsider our relationship with the environment around us. The artworks aim to redefine our perception of vital natural spaces, not merely as scenes for contemplation, but as dynamic and interconnected entities, guardians of a profound intelligence and a primordial energy. Each work is an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to observe with fresh eyes the nuances and messages that nature whispers, shouts, or paints to us. This journey celebrates the intrinsic beauty of our planet while simultaneously confronting us with the fragility and urgency of protecting these vital spaces. It is an opportunity to reflect on our role within this great ecosystem and to rediscover the lost harmony with the rhythm of life.
This November, The Rome Contemporary 2025 exhibition, will be a unique opportunity for the Roman and international public to immerse themselves in a critical and visually stimulating debate on the concepts of place, belonging, and becoming.
The exhibiting artists, hailing from Europe, the UK, the United States, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, the Middle East, Australia, China, Central and South America, Canada, and Saudi Arabia, have chosen art as their privileged means to express their vision of the world. Moving Ideas
Rossoinabro Gallery, Rome, Italy
Now in its sixth edition, Moving Ideas continues its journey at the heart of contemporary art, holding firm to the desire of sharing a path without imposing single interpretations. The essence of this initiative lies in its commitment to fostering an ongoing dialogue with visitors, a dynamic exchange that avoids “embalming” artworks in static, immutable readings.
Moving Ideas is, by its very nature, a “work in progress.” Our daily and future commitment is to welcome and bear witness to the new horizons that today’s art explores in its constant evolution. These are paths that push artists to confront unprecedented perspectives, experiment with innovative materials, and develop new mental processes. Art, in this context, reflects and engages with the profound sense of a society where the speed of change demands a pace of reflection on reality that allows for no pauses.
Once again this year, the event is included in the Rome Future Week exhibition program

Future Spaces, is an exhibition inviting profound reflection on our vital natural spaces – both the environments around us and the landscapes within our minds. In an era of rapid change, redefining our connection with the natural world and our inner universe is essential.
The exhibition explores the intricate relationships between these two realms, prompting new perspectives on perception and interaction. It focuses on fundamental emotions driving discovery: exploration, curiosity, imagination, and confronting "the other" (nature or human diversity).
Through reflective works, Future Spaces encourages exploring your "personal geographies" – unique inner maps crucial for developing a collective future vision. Each piece highlights how inner and outer spaces mutually shape our vision for a more harmonious tomorrow.
International artists from Europe, the UK, US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, China, Central and South America, Canada, and Saudi Arabia use art as a medium to express their world vision.
